Learn how to create a Map in the BlastPoint Platform where you can visualize the physical location of your Audience and Segments.
Maps allows you to gain a deeper understanding of the geographic spread of your audience. Create segments surrounding program enrollment and channel preferences to see how different areas are responding to your outreach efforts.
Putting it all together
- Identify which attributes and programs of your audience you would like to view on a map
- Create a segment based on those attributes
- Build a map based on those segments
Step 1:
You may have already created segments that include program enrollment, channel preferences, or other attributes you would like to view on a map. If not, consider which attributes you would like to visualize on a map.
Example: Create a low income flag segment to view how your low income customers are distributed across your territory. Or, create a high outdoor advertising preference channel to see if your billboard placements have made an impact.
Step 2:
Navigate to the Maps tab and select “Create Map.”
Under "Segments" click the + and select the segment you would like to view on the map.
Step 3:
Add an attribute you would like to see included in your customer data or overlay boundaries such as Census Tracts, Counties, or State Lines.
Step 4:
Conclusion
Using Maps provides valuable insights into the geographic distribution of your audience, helping you better understand how different areas respond to your outreach efforts. By creating and visualizing segments, you can identify trends, assess program impact, and refine your strategies for more effective engagement. Leverage these mapping tools to make data-driven decisions and optimize your outreach efforts.
