How to use the tools in your BlastPoint Audience.

Learn the basics of your Dashboard and Audience when you first log into the BlastPoint Platform.

The Dashboard

The Dashboard is what welcomes you to the BlastPoint Platform. You receive a high level overview of your data and recent activity here. Navigate to your Audience to quickly view data points for your whole audience. 

Key terms to understand in the Dashboard:

Audience Size: Total number of customers in the BlastPoint Platform. 

Last Refresh Date: The last time an update was made to your data or platform.

Attributes: Indicates the total number of searchable and segmentable data points available to you in the BlastPoint Platform.

Audience Overview

Quickly gain insights into your entire customer base using the Audience tab. Each attribute gives you insights into your full Audience. Use these high level insights to begin segmenting your Audience for campaigns. 

Key terms to understand in the Audience:

Fill Rate: The percent of your audience that contains a value for this attribute. 

Data Dictionary: One place to view the meaning of all of your attributes.

Download: Clicking “Download” will download a table of your full Audience. 

Mean and Median: Another word for “Average.” The Mean is found by adding up all of the values in your data and dividing how many numbers there are. Mean should be used when there are no uncharacteristically high or low values. The median is the middle number in a data set. Learn more about when to use Mean and Median here.
