Welcome to Campaigns!
Here's a quick overview
We're excited to introduce Campaigns, a powerful tool designed to help you track your success using the BlastPoint Platform and accelerate your audience growth with innovative features already in development. Campaigns can help you set and track your goals, monitor your progress, and make data driven decisions based on real time insights.
Get Started with Campaigns
As part of the BETA group, your feedback is crucial to our development of this tool. You can share your feedback by filling out the form through the link below or by reaching out directly to your Customer Success Manager. You can also find this form by clicking the bug icon in the top right corner of your Platform.

How to create a campaign
-
Select Create Campaign.
-
Name your Campaign after your Goal.
-
Select which attribute you would like to track surrounding the Goal for your campaign and set your Goal. Check out our Goal Setting best practices here.
-
Include the Segments you’re tracking in your Campaign. Keep in mind that as Audience members of your Segment enroll in your desired program, they will move out of one of your Segments, so we advise that you include another Segment for comparison.
-
Include Attributes you would like to track or Attributes you would like included in lists pulled from these campaigns in the Tracked Attributes section.
-
Click Submit and refresh your page to see updated results.
The Timeline Tab
The timeline tab updates each time your data is updated in your Platform. This is where your Event Annotations also surface so you can see how they have an impact on your conversions.
The Attributes Tab
In the Attributes tab, you can compare your Audience's Attributes between your Campaign's Segments.
The History Tab
The History tab is where you will be able to download a snapshot of your campaign as a .CSV. This History will update every time your Platform refreshes.
You can also add Event Annotations in the History tab, which is how you can see where your activities outside of your data affect your campaigns, like ad buys, mailers, information campaigns, and so on.
How to Create an Automation
Use Automations to easily build an outreach program with a segment of your audience.
1. Make sure the segment you want to reach out to on a regular basis is included in your Campaign. If they're not included yet, select Edit Campaign.
2. Navigate to the Automations tab within your Campaign and select Create Automation
3. Name your Automation, select when you would like to receive your Automation and which Platform user should receive the Automation.
4. Select which Segment in your Campaign you would like to receive as part of your Automation. This is the group of your audience that you want to automate your outreach for.
5. Apply filters as necessary.
Dynamic Filters
Apply Dynamic Filters to your Automations to include or exclude portions of your segments to refine your Automation process.
Inclusion Filter
Use the inclusion filter to include or exclude members if they were part of the existing Automation or another Automation in a set time period. The below filter will exclude anyone who has been included in the Automation in the last 60 days.
Date Filter
Use the date filter to include members only if they performed a certain activity on their account in a specific time frame as set by you. The below filter will include anyone who opened their account in the last 30 days.
Goal setting best practices
- Your Campaign and Segments should be centered around your clear Goal.
- Low median starting points for Goals for your entire audience makes measuring Goals challenging, but you can workaround this by creating a Segment focused on your goal (ie., a Segment focused on high call volume).
- You can also narrow your criteria, if you’re focused on engagement within a specific program, narrow your control and variable segments to that program. For example:
- Indirect Members with a Checking Account and Indirect Members without a Checking Account (Credit Unions)
- Low Income Flag not on LIHEAP and Low Income Flag on LIHEAP (Utilities)

With access to real-time tracking of program goals, such as increasing customer adoption of e-Bill (as shown here), you and your team can engage in timely discussions, evaluate the strategy's progress, and make well-informed decisions for future campaigns.
